Dr. Steven Bauer is a family medicine doctor practicing in Charlotte, North Carolina. Since 2007, he has served as an independent primary care provider and is nearing two decades of service in the Tar Heel State. He later completed two FDA clinical trials focused on COVID-19 therapeutics and has participated in several other FDA-regulated studies. Dr. Steven Bauer Ballantyne completed his pre-medical education at North Carolina State University before earning his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology. He completed his residency at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in New York and was elected Chief Resident. Following his residency, he spent nearly a decade practicing medicine in Long Island, balancing private practice with teaching and service as an HIV specialist at a county clinic.

He maintains current Good Clinical Practice certification and is a principal investigator for several FDA clinical trials. His dedication to medical education continues through clinical affiliations with universities nationwide. He is also an active member of the North Carolina Medical Society, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Additionally, he volunteers with the 10-13 Club of Charlotte, supporting active and retired law enforcement officers.
